We have already implemented several sustainable practices across our business and plan to continuously improve these levels of sustainability throughout all our future projects. We are committed to working together with our employees, suppliers, customers and local communities to create a more sustainable future for everyone.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

Adopting sustainable building practices
Using environmentally friendly materials, designing buildings to be energy-efficient and using renewable energy sources like solar or wind power are at the forefront of our initial design process.

Reducing waste
Our waste segregation and planning helps us to reduce our overall waste within the group by correctly allocating and nesting items in keeping with our sustainable approach.

Using low-emission transportation methods
We have installed EV charging stations at our headquarters, allowing convenient re-charging for our visitors and our ever-increasing fleet of electric vehicles. Many of our vehicles are multi-occupancy vehicles, allowing us to evaluate our projects and utilise the best vehicle for site attendance.

We take measures to protect biodiversity by avoiding sensitive areas, using sustainable materials and implementing landscaping practices that support the ecosystems.

We aim to adopt measures to reduce water consumption by using water-efficient fixtures, rainwater harvesting and water recycling.

As a company we have set goals for reducing energy consumption, waste production and greenhouse gas emissions. In the last year, Hawkins has invested over £300,000 in solar panel and battery technologies within the group.
SOCIAL & COMMUNITY
Our goal is to create a positive and long-lasting impact on the community around us. We achieve this by supporting local businesses, providing employment opportunities, and contributing to social welfare programmes.
In addition, we provide training programmes to educate employees on environmental issues and promote sustainable practices on job sites.
