Hawkins Steel Limited were awarded the negotiated contract for the fabrication, supply and installation of 24 Tonnes of structural support steelwork for a market-leading Laundry Installation Manufacturer.

All steelwork was fabricated within our production facility in Banbury, Oxfordshire, loaded into shipping containers and transported to docks for shipping.

Acting as a partnered sub-contractor to Kannegiesser UK, Hawkins Steel Limited provided technical support, contract planning and a logistics itinerary for this installation.

• The project plan included the following aspects:
• Provide detailed fabrication drawings.
• Fabricate steel monorail support structure and modular platform.
• Supply and apply surface finish to the client’s corporate colours.
• Prepare itemised Shipping consignment.
• Prepare an itemised itinerary of shipping documents to suit time-critical sailings.
• Install steelwork on site, working in conjunction with numerous other trades to a time-sensitive deadline.
