Hawkins Roofing Ltd were awarded the contract by Volvo to implement a new overclad roofing system equipped with solar panels alongside aesthetic and performance enhancements to the building envelope.

The scope encompassed 2500m² of roofing work and cladding works of approximately 800m². The project consisted of over-cladding the existing roofs of both the warehouse and office spaces as well as designing and installing a new lobby entrance for the primary customer hub and a dedicated oil and warranty store.

In addition, external brickwork walls and cladding were upgraded to create a striking new front facade, significantly enhancing thermal efficiency. Despite the bustling activity on-site with heavy goods vehicles manoeuvring externally and internal operations ongoing, the project was seamlessly executed without disrupting the day-to-day workflow.
