Hawkins Steel Ltd were awarded on a sub-contract basis the design, supply and installation of both the main and secondary steelwork for a major refurbishment project in Oxfordshire.

This included: relocation of the existing curtain walling system, new first floor windows, ground floor personnel door and louvres along with the associated alterations to the external cladding to accommodate these changes.

The project also required the installation of a large new office mezzanine floor structure with a feature mild steel curved staircase with stainless steel handrail and concrete tread infills. There was also a second mezzanine which was required for a plant room area, this required a straight access stair.
