Hawkins Steel Ltd were awarded the contract to design and construct a new portal frame storage building.
The building measures 15.5m in span and 21.5m in length, divided into 3 equal bays, each 6.1m high. Additionally, a storage mezzanine floor was included within one of the bays, designed and fabricated in-house by our steel design and fabrication team.
The roofing and cladding consisted of Kingspan KS1000RW panels with integrated Quadcore insulation.
The building also features two insulated electrically operated roller shutter doors and three single-leaf fire-rated personnel doors.
