Acting as subcontractor to Hawkins Projects Ltd The Hawkins Steel drawing office were required to complete submit complete design drawings for the steel structure using Tekla design
technology. The structure also called for a two storey double flight staircase leading to the top floor warehouse and a four-flight staircase with stainless steel grab rail to wall and balustrade up center of staircase.
Once approved, the steel fabrication team fabricated all of the steel work to the specified requirements before it was delivered to site ready for installation.
All steelwork was supplied in accordance with BS EN 1090-2 to Execution Class 2
Hawkins Steel were also responsible for the installation of temporary safety netting & edge protection whilst the work was being undertaken.
