Hawkins Projects Ltd were proud to be appointed the Principal Contractor for the latest expansion phase at Fine Lady Bakeries in Banbury. This significant endeavour marks a pivotal moment for the bakery, allowing Fine Lady to meet the evolving demands of its customers by producing smaller loaves around the clock.

Over the duration, our team successfully navigated the complexities of this project, which involved the seamless integration of a new bakery line and associated infrastructure alongside the construction of a cutting-edge despatch extension building – all while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Hawkins Projects were responsible for:

  • The full Health and Safety Management of the site. Overseeing the induction of over 200 workers and achieving an impressive 400 safe days on site. (safe days reporting means no lost time due to incidents).Design, planning and construction of a new, two-storey bakery extension including offices, training and IT rooms with additional storage on the ground floor.
  • Throughout every phase of this project, from the coordination of groundworks and drainage to the meticulous installation of new equipment and mechanical and electrical works, our team provided expert supervision and planning, ensuring seamless execution with precision and efficiency.
