One of our highly valued roofing supervisors, Richard Marshall (Noshie), who has worked with us for many years is taking on the 100km Thames Path Challenge for the second year in a row. Last year Nosh (less a few toe nails) completed the walk just outside 24 hours and raised £900 for Children with Cancer UK.
But this year, with an added twist, Nosh intends to “jog “ the complete 100k route. Over the weekend of 9/10th September 2017, he will jog alongside England’s greatest river – which meanders from its source in the Cotswolds and on through London, with the city section voted one of the world’s best urban treks! The full route heads upstream from Putney Bridge to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past some wonderful scenery to Henley.
Noshie will be taking part in aid of The Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity where, here in London, 260 new children arrive at the hospital every day each facing their own battle. With your help, he is aiming to enhance (GOSH’s) ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people, giving them the best chance to fulfil their potential.
He would be very grateful for any support so if you would like to join us in sponsoring Noshie, please click on this link to his just giving page:-
