Hawkins Projects Ltd were awarded the contract for the construction of a new warehouse extension to the side of this existing laundry facility.
The brief called for a new area complete with shelving and a requirement for transit vehicles to be able to reverse up to loading doors.
Work undertaken by Hawkins Projects ltd included:
- Dismantling of the existing structure.
- Reconfiguration of the existing drainage system.
- Design of a new storage facility complete with canopy and roller shutter doors.
- Fabrication and installation of structural steel frame.
- Installation of all electrics
- Insulated LCPB fire safe approved cladding to the walls and roof.
