Building Envelope Upgrade

Hawkins Roofing Ltd were awarded the contract to upgrade the building envelope at Calber Facilities Management’s Headquarters at Grove Technology Park, Wantage.

Hawkins Roofing Ltd worked closely with the client to ascertain the colours they would like to totally revamp the cladding to their tired-looking building.

The project consisted of the following:

• A brand new overclad to the front elevation entrance area as well as a new feature band overclad around the entire building at first-floor level in Sargasso Blue.
• New bespoke perimeter flashings to each of the window heads, cills and jambs and all doors in Sargasso Blue.
• The redecoration of the high-level composite panels, guttering and downpipes in Metallic Silver.
• Redecoration of the remaining cladding to the building, with all sectional, personnel doors and canopies in Anthracite Grey.
• The fabrication and installation of a new bespoke made canopy to the front entrance.
• The supply and installation of brand new signage to the front elevation to complete the transformation and modernisation of the building.
