After the great success of our first wind tunnel project, Hawkins Projects Ltd were commissioned again by K W Special Projects Limited, a high-performance engineering business, to help create this second impressive Wind Tunnel facility based in Silverstone, Northamptonshire.
Hawkins Projects were responsible for the supply, fabrication, delivery and successful installation of all the structural and architectural steelwork for the project. Hawkins Projects also executed the internal fit out for the office and wind tunnel facility for this turnkey project.
The wind tunnel itself was fabricated in our steel workshop before being dismantled and delivered to site to be installed along with a prep room and control room to form part of the overall facility.
