The Hawkins Group of companies are proud to be able to support the Frank Wise School by providing them with a new defibrillator.
The Frank Wise School is a special school for children and young adults aged between 2 and 19. They Pride themselves on delivering excellence in a caring, sensitive and dynamic environment centred around the needs of the individual child.
The device, which will be available to the pupils of the school, all of whom have severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well as staff and community users of the school’s facilities, will ensure a rapid response in the event that someone gets into cardiac difficulty.
Joint Headteacher, Simon Knight said, “Whilst we hope that we will never need to make use of the defibrillator, it is reassuring to our staff and the wider community who make use of our facilities, to know that it is there in the event of an emergency. As an Outstanding school we want everything we do to be of the highest possible standard, and the generosity of The Hawkins Group has helped us take another step on that journey.”
It’s a pleasure to be able to support such a fantastic school.
