Hawkins Roofing Ltd were awarded the contract to strip and re-sheet an Asbestos roof on a vacant unit as the first part of a refurbishment project on a busy industrial park based in Abingdon.
The project involved the safe removal of Asbestos roofing material. This was replaced with Tata Trisomet 333 120mm composite roofing panels carrying a 40yr Confidex™ warranty. 15% of the roof area had triple skin factory assembled rooflights installed to allow considerable amounts of natural light into the unit.
Work was completed on a live business park with careful attention to site security and measures to ensure public protection whilst the works progressed. All work was completed on budget and ahead of schedule with no disruption caused to local community businesses.
